Music and Alzheimers
The reason Ellen Starski has chosen to work with Alzheimers awareness stems from her own personal experiences with her Grandmothers both being effected by the disease. The opening track, 'Ode to Nanny & Cookie' off of her debut album is a song she wrote for the both of them. The song is metaphorical in the sense that it compares Alzheimers disease to living in a snow globe. The hope is to donate the song to the Associations listed below in order for them to garner more attention towards their cause.

Ellen is also interested, and has been in talks with the Alive Inside foundation.

We partner with communities to connect the generations and shift our relationship with life, aging and growing up.
